The “MONTANA MAVERICKS” April dance again had 3 squares. Gary Baker called & Lorrie Lane cued. Guests
were from Lolo, Sandpoint, Kalispell, Spokane & Stevensville plus about half of the crowd were Mavericks!!
Some were a little rusty including the caller, but everybody had fun anyway.

We will be having a workshop on Friday April 30 before dancing the next night May 1 with Ed Evans of Port
Orchard, Wa. Call 826-8951 for any info. Masks will continue to be required until the Sr. Ctr. changes that
directive for us.

We are making plans to have the State Festival at Ronan High School Memorial Day weekend. Reservations are
starting to come in as folks have hope it will happen. Call the above number if you have questions. Prices go up
April 15 . The Lake County Health Dept is planning a revision meeting on April 20, so shortly after that we
th
should know if we are a go. In the meantime we are making plans. If we have to cancel, we will refund your
money.

We have a new website for the festival: www.50mtsdfestival.com & we are also on the Montana web site & the
Washington state web site.

Our callers & cuer are ready & waiting for the weekend & we hope you folks are too.
