The “MONTANA MAVERICKS” had a dance in September at the Red Barn at St. Ignatious. 17
dancers in attendance, including Shirlie Kuykendall from Helena, 1 from Missoula, 2 from
Spokane, 2 from Sandpoint Idaho & the rest from our local area. Face Coverings were required.
Adam called & cued as Lorrie was a bit under the weather. Fun dance tho. This was our
anniversary dance, but unfortunately no cake as no shared food due to Covid.
We had our regular club dance in November with 19 dancers & 1 club member who had hip
surgery a week & a half ago so could not dance. We had 3 guests from Libby & 3 from North
Idaho. Marvin Speck called & Lorrie cued. No shared food & masks required. Our contract with
the Sr. Center requires the face coverings as long as Covid is around.
We decided we will not try to do lessons this year with Covid around, as not sure we can finish.
We barely finished this spring when we got shut down.
At this point we do plan to have our regular dances on the first Saturday thru May. Call 826-
